Source priority
We prioritize Samsung product pages, Samsung support articles, Samsung Download Center URLs, Microsoft documentation for Windows features, and direct technical checks. Community reports can help identify a problem, but they do not override an accessible official support statement.
Download freshness
For download-intent pages, we record the stable source URL, final host, file name, response size, platform, support status, and check date when those facts are available. We do not call a file the latest version when Samsung does not publish a verifiable version number.
If the official source becomes unavailable, we will mark it unavailable rather than quietly replacing it with a mirror.
Compatibility language
We distinguish DeX for PC, direct monitor DeX, Wireless DeX, and tablet DeX. We avoid saying that Samsung DeX was completely removed when an official statement applies only to the PC companion application.
Images and illustrations
Original device illustrations are labeled as editorial illustrations and do not claim to show a real Samsung interface. We prefer official screenshots when a stable, appropriate, and reusable source is available. Important instructions always remain in HTML text rather than existing only inside an image.
Corrections
Readers can report a broken link, changed support statement, model error, or unclear instruction to [email protected]. We review corrections against current sources and update affected pages and dates when warranted.
Commercial influence
Advertising or future affiliate relationships do not change the source priority or permit misleading download buttons. Sponsored placements, if introduced, must be identifiable and must not imitate the primary software download action.
